The road to artistry has taken Jeneen Johnson to places far and wide. The only daughter to an Army Drill Sargent, military service was a constant in her life. In October 2020, Jeneen retired from a 26-year military career, in the U. S. Coast Guard, as a Chief Warrant Officer 4.  Military service provided some unique and rewarding opportunities; from search and rescue involvement in the crash of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of Long Island, NY, to combat deployment in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Along with the adventures, military service provided a pathway to leadership, academics, and entrepreneurship. 

Jeneen Johnson has Bachelor's of Science Degree in Law from Kaplan University, an Associate's of Arts Degree in General Studies from American Military University, a Paralegal Certificate from Old Dominion University, along with copious amounts of paraprofessional and technical training in areas of customer service, personnel development, industrial security, and legal administration; including research credit in the Military Law Review.

Following her 2016 deployment to Bahrain,  Jeneen turned her interests to the creativity and the arts while serving in ministry as a Church Administrator, Youth Leader, and Media Specialist. In 2018, this passion for service to others led to her business; Drumroll Audio Events & Entertainment, focused on providing DJ service and musical entertainment to the local Hampton Roads VA and Outer Banks NC region.  In 2020, services were expanded to include Event Planning and Photography.

Excellency and determination remained hallmarks of Jeneens' character and work ethic as she expanded her capacity to serve and create. In 2021, she enrolled in the Bachelor's of Arts in Digital Photography at the Art Institute of Virginia Beach where she is currently studying photography, arts, media, and videography.

Jeneens' faith in God keeps her humbled and grounded. She and her husband, Theo, live in beautiful Hampton Roads Virginia and continue to operate Drumroll Audio Events & Entertainment.
